The path to multilingualism

The details of the 2017 Eurodyce report show that European students are beginning to learn a foreign language at an ever-younger age.

83.8% of European primary school pupils already study a foreign language, although the teaching time may be modest and vary significantly from country to country.

Learning a second foreign language is done mostly at secondary school, although in some countries, rather than being mandatory, another system has been introduced whereby the pupil can study two or more foreign languages right up to the end of the cycle.

We are moving towards a multilingual Europe, but translation and interpretation companies will always be necessary. The correct use of medical or technical terminology or services like software localisation, transcreation and SEO multilingual will always be required and an added value for all companies that make use of them.
