THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

A study by the University of Vermont has used Internet data to determine who are the happiest people in the world.

According to this study, language plays an important part in people’s lives and in their search for happiness. A number of databases, including social networks and Google, were analysed to select 100,000 words from 10 languages.

The study seems to corroborate the claim Latin people are the world’s happiest people.

Spanish was first in the ranking of the world’s happiest languages, followed by Portuguese.
